Crossroads Commerce Center, where the sun shines more than 320 days a year

The area's climate is typical of Northern Nevada's high desert country. Rainfall is slight, averaging less than six inches annually. Clear, sunny skies are the norm, with up to 320 days of sunshine per year. Northern Nevada enjoys four distinct seasons. In the summer, the days are warm and the evenings cool, with July’s average temperature at 92 degrees. The winter days are usually crisp and sunny with most of the precipitation in the mountains. The average low temperature in January is 27 degrees Fahrenheit. Winters are mild with no severe snow conditions. The state's overall lack of humidity gives the weather a more moderate feel encouraging outdoor activities all year. It’s one of the only locations where you can golf in the morning and ski in the afternoon.
